What if history were told differently, if aspects other than those shaped by male-dominated doctrines of life were passed on, if other skills were recognized and brought to the fore?
We are not the first to want to counteract the global logic of war. We bring to life the stories of women* who resisted injustice, tyranny, fascism, and war.
Seven theater artists set out to use song, language, and dance to carry points of connection from the biographies of women* of yesterday into today. Life stories from society’s diversity that encourage us. That tell of the necessity of acting in solidarity and care. And that make it possible to experience that fear and powerlessness can be overcome.
